Most of us do not realize how we let negative energy seep into us every day – every moment we take to regret something after the fact, or vent about something that annoys us, or stress and worry about a “what if?” we can’t control.
Conflict may be a part of everyday life, but in Tai Chi, you will learn that the mindsets we often associate with it – fear, ego, anger – don’t have to be. We’re constantly taught align ourselves with these mentalities, because they draw from our most basic instincts. But as evolved beings capable of a higher thought process, we can adjust to different alignments, based on wisdom, love, and rational understanding.
As an internal martial art, Tai Chi has a range of applications, including philosophy, self-defense, and mental and physical health. However, the same principals are always at the core. Come with requests in mind or just to experience and learn this centuries-old martial art with a welcoming group of practitioners.
